二、as long as 是介詞短語，一般接句子

其中的arranging ，并不是說該詞后加動詞ing形式，arranging 是句子arranging the time reasonably中的部分，是獨立主格形式，它不能看作是as long as后加動名詞。
2.as long as it isn't boring就是一個例子，而As long as do not rain!實際上是省略句，省略了it ，完整的用法是As long as it do not rain!至于什么時候省略，隨著英語學習的加深，自然能夠形成這種語感。
三、.as long as其實有三個意思：
1) 只要 = so long as = while
如：You'll succeed as long as you work hard.

2）(長度上)和...一樣長 / 長至...(程度)/ 長達...
如：The room is as long as 10 meters.
這個房間長達10米.
3）(時間上)和...一樣久 / 久至.../ 長達...

四、"as long as" =有三個用法:
1.During the time that (在這段時間):I'll stay as long as you need me.
2.Since (既然) :As long as you've offered,I accept.
3.On the condition that (條件是):I will cooperate as long as I am notified on time.
